Mizumoto Lab at IUSSI 2026 in Freiburg
The Mizumoto Lab participated in the 20th International Congress of the IUSSI in Freiburg, Germany, with two termite research talks and an organized symposium.
Nobu Mizumoto gave the invited talk “Paired, individual, and collective-decision making by dispersing termites.” Elijah Carroll presented “Nesting biology drives the stability of tandem movement coordination in mating termites.”
H. Li-Byarlay and N. Mizumoto also organized the symposium “From founding to function: early-stage dynamics in the life cycle of social insects,” a four-hour session featuring invited and contributed talks on the early stages of social insect colony life.
