Mary Goldman is a former undergraduate researcher in the Mizumoto Lab. She studied the evolution of body size across termites and cockroaches using literature-based morphological data, video measurements, and phylogenetic comparative analysis.
Mary compiled body-size measurements across numerous species and used these data to investigate the ancestral body size of termites and their cockroach relatives. She presented her work at the Auburn University Research Symposium and prepared it for publication in the Auburn University Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship.
