Mizumoto Lab Auburn University

Becca Valentine is an M.S. student in the Mizumoto Lab. She is interested in eusocial insect behavior and the evolution of collective construction.

Her research examines how tunneling and excavation behaviors vary across termites and cockroaches. She combines behavioral experiments and comparative analysis to understand how differences in individual behavior and ecology produce variation in collective structures.
